In 1990 My father, Dennis worked at Sun Holiday Pools as their service manager. He mentioned to a friend that he was going to leave and start his own company called "The Pool Man", the friend went out the next day and registered the name for himself and for nearly 20 years gave the whole pool industry a bad name. I am here to change that image.

So, my parents opened a company named "Presto Pool and Dome" and went to work taking jobs nobody else wanted, restoring pools that had seen better days and building new pools. I was 10 years old and for a lack of babysitter was learning a trade without knowing it. My dad taught me a lot over the next 10 years, while I also learned pool maintenance from my mom.
When my whole family moved to Toledo I took another road, yet always fell back on pool work during the summer. The Summer job I grew up hating was slowly becoming a career.
In 2008 after being the service manager for a few years at a local pool company, my wife finally convinced me it was time to start my own company. So I started Nautilus Pools. We have been Doing very well, We have an A+ Rating on Angies list, excellent customer service, and a rapidly growing company.
In 2013 I learned that "The Pool Man" had finally gone under, the business name was once again available, and I could bring the name that my father had once wanted so badly could be brought back into the family.
While I had no afilliation with the previous owners of The Pool Man, I would like to extend my apologies to all the customers who were mistreated, cheated and harassed by them
